Sway bar Questions
Ive been reading alot about sway bars and have a few ideas for the rear but i never ran across any post on what was being used for the front sway bar. Is this just something i have to find off of another 67-72 or can i get one off something else? I would like to add at least the front to my soon to be shop truck But plan on running both on my SWB. Oh and while im thinking of it are you guys with the rear making your brackets for the frame mount part or does someone make a kit or something for them.

Re: Sway bar Questions
Later model truck ones also work.I can't remember what all fits but there should be a write up in the FAQ's.It will give you more info than I can.The rears are also available.IIRC there is a write up on a Camaro one in the FAQ's also. You might also do a search since someone has probably done one in their build thread. There are also aftermarket ones but IIRC they run in the $150.00+ range and most can get one from a wrecking yard for about $40.00-50.00

Re: Sway bar Questions
Being that I do not have the luxury of junkyards down here with older vehicles I ordered both of mine from CPP and installed them very happy with my purchase.

Re: Sway bar Questions
I did the FAQ article about swaybars. Be sure and check it out.
Any truck up to 87 will work, and any Suburban or heavy truck up through 91 will work on the older trucks.

Re: Sway bar Questions
I sifted thru the FAQ section and finally found it. It dosent show up on a search for some reason.

The stock bar is 1 & 1/16" The bigger bar is 1 & 1/4" 3/16 of an inch doesn't sound like much difference but it looks about twice as beefy. Got mine at my local Pick-n-Pull for 12 bucks.
