3 door Pricing question.

Found a 69 1/2t 3 door on craigslist and with out going and checking it out the guy wants $1500. He says it has rusted floor and rockers and no engine.
Is that a fair asking price?

Sounds high to me. For $5500 to $6000, I can find you a nice driver burb with minimum rust here in NM. Better to pay more for a nicer original truck, just my 2 cents.

Re: 3 door Pricing question.

No engine plus body rot = near the scrap metal price.

Unless some portion of the truck has been restored, like the frame and suspension, that's way high. Low rust runners are selling for less than 2k online and likely go for less as a local sale.

NO!! 500-600 maybe, I just saw a cherry 72 at the Shriner swap meet in K.C., factory 402 with 20,000 mi. on rebuild, A/C, and nice as H#!!, for 5500, needed nothing. no paint, no interior, nothing

I spoke to him already, it needs much work. Let me know if you go see him. Try and talk him out of the roof rack for me if its in good condition.

Re: 3 door Pricing question.

way to much. i paid 600 for mine, everything complete. of course it doesnt run because its been sitting for a while, and it needs a few areas of body work. for 1500 it better at least be running
