front crossmember swap question
I tried to search for info on this but did not find anything, I have a 67 and I swapped my stock cross member with one from a 87 suburban and I noticed that either the lower arms are higher up or the crossmember itself or the crossmember itself is shapped differnt cause now the lower arms dont hit the floor the crossmember does. I would post pics but I still have not figured out how to. it seems to me the dip in the middle of the crossmember is not as drastic as the original one. either way It seems better to me!!

Re: front crossmember swap question
Hmmm? That seems odd. It should look like this when laid out.

Re: front crossmember swap question
Does it make a diff if it's a 1/2 or 3/4 ton crossmember??
