I've noticed that...they jokingly refer to it as "putting your stuff on the lawn"

At least they're sticking to their theme though...

Re: "Trucks" on Spike

I'm glad I'm not the only one annoyed.

I'm glad shows like those exist, but man other than being a 30minute commerical for their sponsors its often frustrating and totally hard to follow when they bounce all over the place.

Its completely understandable that you can not work on something constantly because you have to wait for powder coating, something to be welded or whatever. However they shoot straight for weeks and dish out the episodes over a several month period. Nothing says they can't air the episodes out of filmed order so we can watch them start to finish.

I haven't seen the finished 66 yet, but from the photos it did look way to pretty to be used.

300 hp is enough to do some giggle talkin' burn outs. They better show us the finished product even if it's next summer or it's a boycott from me.

Re: "Trucks" on Spike

You can purchase the episodes on iTunes. The motor build was nothing special - they just tore it down and rebuilt it using slightly higher end parts. The 300hp has to be a conservative flywheel estimate.

The Hot Rod TV guys probably rebuilt the motor.
