Divorced Adivce
Alright so the title is a bit misleading, there is no maritial issues here
![]() So that's the background, here's the problem. The transfer case was originally mounted to the transmission in the Internation using a slip intermediate driveshaft. Its about 9' long which is much to long to mount to the NV4500; actually any length seems like it with be to long. Can i hook the transmission to the transfer case directly with a u-joint? Will soft rubber mounts to the frame for both the case and transmission be enough? Any advice on the subject would be greatly appreciated. |

Re: Divorced Adivce
No you can't use a single u-joint to connect the two. You need to use something to allow the two to move according to torque. The least I've seen used is a cv joint. What kind of lift, if any, do you have?
