new replacement cabs
I was just wondering if anybody here has spent the bucks and got one of the full 47-54 replacement cabs that are available now, so anybody done it?

I've seen them by several companies. At $9k a pop, it makes WAY more sense to just take the cab to a body shop and have them patch it up, good as new. Then take the $6-7k you saved and put it into the rest of the truck

I cant recall the name of the company right now, but there's an ad in nearly every issue of Classic Trucks magazine that has a silver and purple Chevy that was built using one - a custom chassis too.

ouch on the price! $9k is almost my whole budget for my truck, not including paint.
