WTB- Several interior pieces

I am looking for the following items.

1. GM console mounting bracket.
I have the console, I need the brackets that attaches it to the floor.

2. Door kick panel trim.
I have two of the carpeted panels that go below the door panel. I need the stainless piece that goes at the top. I have one that's in decent shape looking for another one. Will buy complete panel if needed.

3. Drivers side sun visor.
Got one-Thanks Jeff.

4. Seat belt boots.
The boots that cover the inner seat belts are cracked. I need quality replacements.

Pics will be posted below.

Re: WTB- Several interior pieces

Ken, I might have a nice drivers side sun visor laying around....let me look today and get back to you.

As far as the console brackets, I thought only 4x4 trucks used the brackets due to the high hump trans tunnel. I am pretty sure 2wd truck consoles bolt directly to the floor...that is what I am planning to do on my 73.

If I am wrong, I would at least like verification and to see a pic of the bracket(s) in question.

Planning an interior re-do for the 77 with these parts?

Oh, and congrats on the Air Ride stuff...I am super jealous!

Re: WTB- Several interior pieces

Jeff- Please take a look and let me know what you have. The PO changed the passenger side, but left the D side as it had an OEM sticker intact. It is bubbling up now, and needs to go.

You might be correct on the bracket. Keith and I looked at it this weekend, and thought it would be cleaner to install if we had the bracket.

I am gathering parts to do the bucket seat conversion. I want everything in place when the time comes to do it.

Yeah, I was blown away on the Air Ride deal.

Re: WTB- Several interior pieces

Console bracket pics for ya. This set-up i pulled from a mid 70s 2wd blazer. (i think) I am not sure if it was correct, but it sure looked untouched yet. The bad news, i don't really want to sell them but if they are correct i can get measurements for you. I think they would be pretty easy to make.
If you guys think these are not correct, let me know...

Re: WTB- Several interior pieces

too much stuff- Thanks for sharing. Jeff appears to be correct in that they are not needed for a 2wd truck floor application. Keith just did one in his sons 79 Blazer and I'll guess that is why he thought they were needed.

Re: WTB- Several interior pieces

Ken, I looked, and I have 1 spare drivers side visor. It is in real nice shape, swivels nice, but has one very small "crease" along the top. I think it could be ironed out easily, but it is barely noticable as is. There is a very small amount of light surface rust on the metal arm part...but that too will come off with light sanding prior to paint. If I needed one for my 73, I would have no qualms about putting this one in it...if that helps you determine its condition. If you can use it, you pay to ship it and its yours.

Re: WTB- Several interior pieces

i am going to the junk yard later this wee so if i see anything (i think seatbelts stuff is last) i will check..
i usually can find those in good shape out of burbans..
do they need to be the same color?
or out of a specific truck?

have you thought of making them yourself out of "stretchy" cloth?? or vinyl? (we did this on a n old dodge before)

Of course I would "prefer" them to be the correct color. If not, I can dye them. Let me know if you find anything.

Re: WTB- Several interior pieces

Dang, I just threw away an old ratty looking gray door panel carpet with that trim last week or so. I looked at it and was contemplating taking off that trim because it was pretty nice, but began to think, will someone really need the trim off of one of these sometime. I will have to go dig around some more and see if I can scrounge up another one for ya. Trevor

TREVOR- The seatbelt boots were in my 77 when I bought it. As far as I know they are correct and it has a bench seat.

I think the bucket seats boots are smooth.

Re: WTB- Several interior pieces

N2Trux, I may make a stop to my local junkyard this week. He has a few older 73-87 pickups and I believe the last time I was there, he had a 1980 pickup with Red interior, I will look at the boots and if they are the same. Trevor

Here is a set on ebay from an 87 with bucket seats. They may not be exact but you can use the buckle side they are for bucket seats.

Re: WTB- Several interior pieces

I have the trim you are looking for that goes on the lower door panel. One has a very small nick in it, but both are mostly flawless. They could use a quick buffing though.

Cool. I have one that is in great shape, and the other has a gazillion little dinks from the seatbelt.

What ya want for those?

Decided that I need to hold onto them actually because I haven't seen another set on any other truck thus far.

Sorry ken. If I find another set in good shape, they're yours.
