That's great to hear. I was planning on heading up there next week.

I agree. Vehicles have gotten way over priced. However I have to say that my 03 Sierra has almost 100K miles on it, and I have done nothing to it. Regular maintenance, and that's it. They are going further these days. I think they are building too many of them each year. If the big three want to save money, just build fewer cars. I mean if you look at all the used lots out there, I don't think we are looking at a vehicle shortage. That's my 2 cents. It's not worth as much as your 5 cents!

Re: The Search Is OVER!!!!

Well my wife and I were out last night, and saw a newer Chevy with a set of 20" wheels on it. I mentioned that those were nice looking wheels, and she asked if we were going to do that with the 84. I said I wasn't sure, and her thought was that we do. So I guess I'm looking at doing a 2" drop up front and rear. I like the sport rake look. Then going with either 20" all around, or doing a 18" front, 20" rear combo. What do you guys think, and are lowered spindles better or lowered springs? Talked to a member here, and he said he had a set of stock springs, and a set of 2" lowering springs. Just don't know which would be the best way to lower the front. Here are the wheels I'm looking at. Not set on theses, but these are the ones that caught my eye.

Re: The Search Is OVER!!!!

mine is also the same color combo as mine in high School (Velma Alma Class of '86 for the Okies on the board). the sentimental factor does get you. there were 3 SWBs and 2 LWBs that same two tone blue in my high school. all were 83s and 84s
