Hello from Flowery Branch Georgia
Just signed up today but have been on the site for a couple of weeks now. I have found it to be very addictive. There is so much information here. This is just what I have been looking for.
I recently purchased a 1964 short stepside with a 350 and a Hurst 4speed. It was converted to five lug wheels with front disc and power steering and power brakes but the guy I got it from couldn't really tell me much about it so I have some research ahead of me. At some time it was restored. The frame and bed are really clean with nice wood and stainless steal strips. All new brakes with a new dual master cylinder and power booster. It also has a new exhaust system with headers. Not sure what year the 350 is but it runs great. The shifter jumps out of second gear for some reason but shifts smoothly through the gears. The paint is old and thick looking so I've got alot of work to do there. I will try and post a picture once I figure out how. I have already found many answers to several issues I have. This site really rocks! Regards, Mike |
