rfmaster - Would you mind taking a look at my thread when you have time? I'm having a surging issue at cruise. Thanks! http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=351755

Nothing really stands out other than maybe a bit of MAP sensor irregularities. At one point I am driving about thirty and the voltage goes down like my vacuum is increasing but I'm actually just cruising steady. it goes from about 1.5 down to .90 and then goes back up to 1.5 volts. Otherwise it seems normal to me. plus the knocking noise is still there at any speed, just harder to hear on the freeway unless i'm driving next to the center walls but still crappy feeling acceleration. I hate to think this but it seems like the noise and power loss is from something purely mechanical like bad bearings, pushrods, lifters, or springs. I don't know what to do because this is my only form of transportation and I don't have the place or time to tear it apart. Last edited by jesdude7789; 07-06-2009 at 05:25 PM. |
