Re: Stock buckets and console

I bought my bucket seats and console from yellowblazer, he is a member on this site that rebuilds seats and consoles for a living. He does great work and can make whatever color you happen to need.

I belive the seatbelt type consoles after 72 had the yellow clored bowtie, and the 69-72 seatbelt holder had the blue colored bowtie. But yes I've seen the seatbelt holders in 73 and up trucks and was like what the heck?

The easiest way to tell 73 and up buckets is the release for the passenger seat, right? I had a set from a 73 blazer and it had the lever, and then I've seen the ones from a 72 and it has a little release lever, in the shape of a U.
