Re: Black seat cover sale

These are made by truckworld, they are top quality pui doesnt come close to the craftsmanship and quality of these covers. The camera is charging but i will get some pics up today they are an exact match to the factory originals.

Thanks, chris

Would I be a complete moron for asking what 'pui' means?

Re: Black seat cover sale

pui is a manufacturer of reproduction upholstery for classic vehicles. Most of the time, PUI lacks certain details that can be distinguished from original. Sometimes, they are the only company though that makes interior for a vehicle.

When i began doing interiors PUI made quality interiors but now their materials are of a lesser grade including but not limited to their vinyl, wire inserts, and inner edge protection pad, also their quality controll seems to be nonexistant. most of the time i have to alter or fix sewed areas on PUI's covers to get the correct look or fit since they dont seem to care how many times you have to send upholstery back or how unhappy your customers are. Now I usually only use them when they are the only manufacturer for a particular vehicle.

I will get some pics of the bench seat covers today, they are the same as factory ones with scroll and pleats.

thanks, chris

Re: Black seat cover sale

I might be interested in a black bench seat cover for a 72. But the seat I have is out of a 70.
  • Will the 72 seat cover work on the 70 seat.
  • Would or could I change the seat foam to make it work ?

The same covers work for both 69-70 and 71-72 the upholstery is the same size only the design is different.
