vent windows
I just recently replaced my vent windows and am having trouble rolling up the window. once it gets about all but 3 inches from being all the up the window gets real hard to crank. Is there an adjustment that I am missing? The truck is a 67 and the vent windows came out of a 68 so I dont think that is the problem.Any help would be appreciated.

There are not any adjustments. I suspect that the felt runs on your replacement vent windows are in better shape and it put pressure onto the back felt. I would look at the junction of the lower rear run and the door to see if the felt is ok. It is hard to see but that is a problem area.
It seems as if your problem happens just as the window guide hits that area which would make the window about three inches from the top. Jim |

Thanks for your help. I was just afraid to try and force the window up all the way. The felt is in better condition thn the old vent window.
