Differences in GMC to Chevy

Alright guys I'm just gettin into these trucks since I recently totalled my Tahoe... thinkin like 81-85 is what I like can anyone tell me the differences between the chevy and gmc versions of the C10 of these years like grill maybe something in the running gear etc... thanks guys

Like Camper said that's about the only differences in them. Everything else is pretty much identical. That and all the parts that are different can be swapped out if you wanted it to be one or the other. Visually that is.

My neighbor swears that my '76 GMC 1 ton is stronger than my '84 Chevy crewcab 1 ton! Both have a 10,000lb gvw,but he say the GMC will handle the weight better....the frame is stronger! Dont understand these 'old timers'

My Granddad told me that when the GMC's came to western Kansas, that no one trusted them. He said no one wanted a truck with a funny looking chrome grille.
