73-87 factory gauge swap wiring

i put this in electrical but its not getting anywhere thought i would try over here too.

i am swapping in a tach cluster from a 78 k10 to my 74 c10. i am trying to determine the wiring order on the main plug. looking at the 2 attached diagrams i can see where the wires need to move but there are several that are plugged in on the 74 harness that im not sure what number they change to. can anyone enlighten me on how the wiring should be.

the diagrams are in this post. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=357071

Here's a good read. May not have all you need, but it's the best I can do for ya. Watch out for the amp/volt meter. getting the wrong one in the wrong truck makes sparks maybe fire.
