Door Rubber?
What have any of you found with rubber cab/door seals from different vendors. I have heard Steele Rubber is top of the line...whew, I hope they are based on pricing!
Are there others who are ok that any of you have used?

Re: Door Rubber?
I purchased my new door seals from LMC truck. They match the original rubber great but that, of course, means they need to be glued in with the black 3M weatherstrip adhesive. All in all a good product.

Re: Door Rubber?
It's been about 10 years so I'm 100% sure, but I think I bought my door gaskets from either American Classic or Chevy Duty (which now has a different name). Although they sealed well and still look like new, they weren't even close to the same shape or size as the originals, and I had to readjust the doors further open to be able to close them.
I did keep a couple of chunks of the original gaskets for future reference, and found the Steele Rubber items are almost an exact match. I purchased a set about a year ago and have been waiting to finish the paint job before installing. I just finished the paint so I'll be installing them shortly. I've already had them on once (without adhesive) and the doors fit much nicer. To me, they were worth the price. |

Re: Door Rubber?
I bought all my rubber from TruckandCarShop.com, everything fit well and the prices were good. I bought the windshield, door, side windows (both sliding and stationary) and the rear hatch rubber. They have a lot of Burb stuff.
