th400 ?
Gonna start the Buick 430/400 swap this week, just thinkin out loud, will I need a high hump floor? Truck has a 4 speed in it right now. Thanks,

2 ton is dead on right, hhowever, there's some variables here...
Yes, you already have a high hump Yes, a TH400 goes under a low hump 9GM did millions like that) However, the variable in the off band engine will be in the height of the mounts. Either way, you already have a high hump so patch the hole from the shifter and call it good. |
