It's hard to see because I can't stop looking at your sash cord, firewood, mock up tools....
Is your lower (outer) bar going over, or under the axle? What does the length of the upper bars show to be?

That's what I was thinking.
How do you plan to attach the upper four link tabs to the pumpkin? ***edit*** just checked their site. This is exactly what you need, it's much easier to set up, and solves the problem of having to weld mounting tabs in the middle of the diffeential: Last edited by smashingchuck; 09-12-2009 at 02:29 PM. |

Re: Making sure I know.. 4 link help
That's the first time I've seen a picture of the Suicide Doors 73-87 rear kit. I wonder why they did these kits as a four link with a watts link instead of a wishbone ( like the 63-72 kit ) or triangulated four link?

i was also tossing around the idea of a single leaf in rear with a flip kit, whats your opinion on that?

If not then a single leaf in the rear is to soft. You will need at least two leafs with a spring that long.

Re: Making sure I know.. 4 link help
My opinion of the single leaf is all bad. The single leaf will give you hella axle rap & looks hella ghetto. You'd be better off with a two link.
