Another Ebay Scam??
I'm pretty sure this was a members Blazer that he sold not too long ago. The story and timelines don't match up to when it was sold from what I remember on this site and the zero feedback is always an indicator.

Re: Another Ebay Scam??
It may be real but definatly not truthful. This Blazer was sold in 2008 and this guy is claiming he bought it in 2003 and was the one who had all the work done to it. Here is a portion of the ad.
"When I bought it in 2003 I garaged it for a few months then began to build up on it. I bagged it, completely redid the interior, put new wheels on it, new sound system, and changed out the engine. I basically rebuilt the truck. I have over $33k (with receipts) invested into it over the last five years. Due to housing issues I have to sell her now, for much less than what I have into it." |

Re: Another Ebay Scam??
There is one in every part of the country that buys a rig and then claims he did all the work himself.
Usually I shy away from the baffle them with bs guys and I think this is one of those. Too much bs in the add that takes away from the substance of it. We don't need to know what housing costs were in 1972 nor do we need to know the story of why he is selling the truck. Just give us the complete details of it and lots of photos to check out. The best part of the add is the come check it out in our showroom part. That would be good in that you can check out the truck without the owner hovering. The no feedback and nothing else to sell spooks the willies out of me though. Last edited by mr48chev; 09-27-2009 at 06:46 PM. |
