1995 K2500 16x7 wheels on a 1980 K10?
I am pretty sure I know the answer to this but I need to ask anyways. Will a set of 16x7 wheels off of a 1995 K2500 fit on my 1980 K10. They are both 6-lug but I am wondering if the center hole is going to be too small to fit over my hubs. Is it possible to make the center bore bigger? at what cost? the wheels are free and I would like to use them, but if they won't fit then it would be a waste of time. thanks, Justin

It's possible, but for what a machine shop might charge per wheel, it's probably cheaper just to get a set of aftermarket chrome steel wheels that actually fit.

Yeah, but I'm not sure what years they did it. I know it started in the 88 model body change. The lighter duty 3/4 ton trucks had a semi-floating six lug axle. It may have been the same one as the 1/2 ton? probably up-graded brakes?

Possibly, I'm just not sure. '88-'98 was a similarly designed group, just like '73-'87, but things do change with-in the group.
