steering column ?
Is there any way to idenify what column is in my truck. The guy I got it from said it was from a 76 van. But the grant steering wheel kit made for that van is wrong the little plunger thing I think for the horn don't line up.

The cancelling cam/horn contact for the tilts is different from the regular columns. It is possible that you have the wrong kit.
The van tilt looks a lot like the actual truck column except for some minor differences. The most notable difference is the shaft stick out at the bottom of hte column. If the shaft is stciking out of the column approximately 5" then it could be a van column. Do you have a tilt or regular column? Jim

i have a tilt column. The shaft was sticking out of bottom like you said. I will see if grant lists tilt or no tilt kit. Thanks for your imput.

a photo would help to. The hand controls and perndl font will help tell what year-ish it is.
