These are brand new 1972 Cheyenne Super woodgrain aluminum door panel appliques. These are not restored, but brand new door panel trims that either are NOS, or were some of the early reproductions before the mold was lost, but I am unsure. You cannot get these anywhere else that I know of as of today besides the cheap abs plastic ones from LMC. These are not wrapped in Di-Noc, but actually silk printed or etched onto the aluminum. I would definitely use them if I wasn't building a crew cab 72'. Perfect where originally comes to play. >>>$500/shipped<<<<

If they are repro's they sure are nice. I never knew the mold was lost, but have noticed quite a few people having their originals restored in the last few years.

They are not repoped anywhere. (Except the plastic junk) If you need nice originals you arent likely to find them anywhere else this nice. Bump for some nice parts.

Trevor, thats some real nice pieces, where in your opinon is the best dash bezel that most matches the originals in quality and appearance

Lloyd, from all the experience I have with Cheyenne Super pieces over the years, there is not one woodgrain bezel out there that is close to the originals. They are a thin plastic that was cemented to the instrument panel. The plastic was etched and had the woodgrain photoetched on it. A lot of people recommend Cheyenne Super Man out of Abilene, Texas. Gary has a lot of nice products and restores woodgrain pieces with Di-Noc which is the woodgrain that was put on the exterior woodgrain pieces and looks similar to the original woodgrain inside the cab. I try and collect all original woodgrain interior pieces I can get my hands on, because of the lack of nice reproduction woodgrain pieces. I have that original in the pics, and then I just picked up a NOS one a couple of weeks ago for $1. Here is a pic to compare both the original and a NOS part made in 1988. Trevor

trevor,i'm looking for a wood grain tack dash w/ vacumn for my 72 cst blazer either whole or preferably just the bezel. mine works and just needs a new bezel but would consider complete unit if thats all thats to be had.keep me in mind please,colin
