All I can tell you is its a 3208 Cat. Ive seen them in the proper location before, but it took a fancy grille gaurd setup to hold the radiator so it didnt look to funny. The 3208 is basically a disposable engine, and the fuel system on a 3116 is junk as well. Best bet is go with a Cummins, Perkins, or similar. Even John Deere has industrial engines that can be made to fit.

I've seen a couple trucks with a Cat 3208 in the front before. It's a tight fit, but can be made to work.

Given that engine positioning I would have done a 6V92 Detroit.
