Re: Boyds rear mounted tank

Do you see any ideas on how to make the tank a larger capacity, possibly 25 gals? I have been looking at various ideas over the years, and I would prefer something a bit bigger than 18 gals, especially since V8's don't get the best mpg.

Any ideas or thoughts?

Depends on what else you may be doing with your truck. The tank could easily be a couple of inches deeper (lower) and a few inches longer (front to rear).

That's what I was thinking, and why I asked what your plans were for the truck. Obviously, if you're going to lower it then you don't want the tank much lower than it is now.

How are you planning on attaching the tank?

A rear tank is near the top of my list and I'm really interested in your setup since the fill is really straightforward. (or straight backward in this case )
