bench to bucket swap...is it hard?
assuming i find a set of buckets at the bone yard, is the swap hard?
is for a 91 burb |

if you get s set of buckets from a comparable year and model they usualy bolt right up. if buckets were an option on the 91 then the bolt holes and attached nuts are usually there although unused

If you go with buckets from the same body style Burb, get the bucket seat stands, and brackets. I`m pretty sure you`ll need them and they are welded to the floor.

using a chisel and a hammer chop around the tacs,grind off welds after,best bolt onto seat ,place in truck,mark/weldre-tac them in place.repeat
As i did in mine custom seat posts broke so used stock blue

i might just stick with a bench as this looks like it involves more time and effort than what I have currently.....Maybe I could just mount the bucket seats to the current stand. I know a bar would show in between the seats and both seats would adjust together...just a thought
