Bought my first classic - 67 GMC 4x4
I just purchased my first 4x4 to restore. Been doing 1st gen camaros and thought a truck would be a nice change of pace. Know very little about 4x4's so you will be seeing a lot of questions from me. I am trying to find out what I bought. The vin is CE247 which translates to a 2x4 but is a 4x4. The rear is a 3883379 which is a HO52 which should be crorrect for a 67 3/4 ton. The front is a 31258 or 9 with 44 on the lower section. Its a 3 sp on the column.
I have tried searching for the front diff numbers but with no sucess. Is there a listing of what the drive train numbers should be. I am assuming someone put a 2 wheel drv cab on a 4 wheel drv frame. But so far everything seems to be from 67. Any help would be appreicated. Don Last edited by 67gmcstepside; 01-15-2010 at 07:08 PM. Reason: add |
