Help!
OK so i have a 1982 chev snb truck with a 350/350 combo.. I parked the truck just before xmas and the othere day i went out and tried to start it and wouldnt u kno it was dead, so i charged the batt, and then it still wouldnt start, i pulled a plug wire and by myself tried to see if i had any spark, no luck so i tore down the Dist and had the module tested, it turned out to be good, so i put it back together, and with the help of some starting fluid i got the beast to start... (Now when i put the module back in i didnt put any new dielectric grease on the back of it i thought there was enuff on the base for two modules..) So anyways i started her up and she runs good sounds like it would tear the hell out of any thing that tried to race it.. but once i put a load on it ie put it in gear, she loses her balls, i wont get out of its own way and pops thru the carb.... anyone else have this problem and if so what is the cure for what ales my truck.?

Re: Help!
Check the fuel pressure and the accelerator pump in the carb to make sure it is spraying fuel into the intake manifold when you work the linkage.

Re: Help!
if i had a fuel delivery problem wouldnt it affect the idle and rpms with out a load?... this seems more like electrical, i thought i might have ran the plug wires wrong but i retraced them and there good....

Re: Help!
Make sure you don't have bare wires on the pick up coil or broke them when taking it apart also whats the millage on this truck is it possible that the timing chain jumped.

Re: Help!
popping through the carb is usually timing or the pickup coil in that order
