BBC Cross member Problem
I hit a roadblock... The DIY4x cross member lowered the motor down quite a bit, causing the the headers to have serious clearance issues. I moved the engine forward 3 1/4" so the frame is narrower, but the tall valve covers clear the firewall. The exhaust ports on the heads are about an inch or two above the frame instead of 3-4". Any suggestions?

Re: BBC Cross member Problem
I put a 396 in my old 70 K20 and I had to move the engine ahead and cut my firewall to run the tall style valve covers like i wanted to. I wonder if they built those engine mounts with that thought in mind?
