Re: Need Help With Bed Wood Dimension
Hey! I'm in the process of re-doing my wood bed on a 86 Stepside. I have 7 strips of wood also. The two outer ones are 5.5" and the five inner ones are
7.5" wide by 77" long. I was able to rip a single sheet of maple/birch plywood ($48. @ HomeDepot) into the proper size strips with a little left over. I still need to route the edges to accommadate the bed strips. I haven't stained or varnished the wood yet but I'm hoping to get to it next week. Good luck on your resto!
