how to change my studs out

went to take my wheels of my trucka dn realized the idiot at the tire shop crosst hreaded the lugs so now I need to replace three of them. is it as easy as take the caliper off. remove dust cap and spindle nut pop of disc and mallet them out, install by tapping them in and apply torque on the nut with a wahser until they suck up into the disc? Thanks guys

Getting them out is easy if you have access to air tools. I just run a open end lug over the end of the stud...threading it on enough so it is about halfway on the stud. Then, simply get an air chisel, place the tip of the chisel on the inside the lug nut against the stud and let r rip.

Installing them can be done by hand they way you mention, just be sure to oil the threads and take your time. You can have them installed with a press too...which is preferred but not always feasible.
