I got my 70 GMC down in Texas. A little town around Cypress, if I remember(?) correctly, back in 85. PO had sealed the rad, glued a door handle on with 3m adheasive. Butchered a late model rearend to it. Paid $500 for it. Had to tow it back to Deer Park. Rod knocking real bad. PO said to add a can of STP and drive it. Got it home and tore into the motor. Small block 400. PO had used same 3m adheasive to install head gaskets.(most cooling holes clogged) Yanked out 400 and installed a 283. Drove if for a few years. Started a frame off in 93. Still at it. Almost done. No before pics.
