It is not very expensive for a chip burner and data cable to connect to the data port under the dash. As long as you have a laptop it will cost you less than $150 to do it. Even if you have to buy a cheap laptop to do it it is worth it to know what your engine is doing and to be able to customize the tune for your truck.

I've thought about that as well. I had an 07 i wanted to tune, but I'm afraid don't have enough knowledge to not blow something up. I may look into it some more. Thanks for the heads up.
