how do you remove the chrome?

i have a 87 Chevy Silverado an i wount to remove the chrome under the tail lights that go around the bed that i have circled. (this is a old pic of my truck just to let yall know)

IIRC you have to pry them off and weld the holes in behind them.

I had that trim on my truck, but it was gone before I bought it...there are two holes in the bed where it attached...I don't know if it just pops off or there are nuts on the inside...

I dont have a sq body but I'd guess that if you finger pry a top corner it will come off if you cant get behind it with a wrench. I'm guessing its just held on with a couple clips.

The clips do have bolts on the back. Pull the taillamp lens and housing. The nuts are 3/8", IIRC.

Correct, there is a clip that holds that part on. I didn't know it was a bolt,it looked like a rivet to me so I used the grinder and ground the head off. If I remember you can take the piece next to it on the bed and you can see the clip behind it.
