Re: need measurements
Look at this site, bookmark the link it is hard to navigate thru the site to find it. Scroll down to the tech manual for your series, tons of cool information and dimensions not found in the assembly manuals.

Re: need measurements
Since my 53 is in pieces right now, this is just an approximate figure:
72" x 192" The width should be accurate because my bed is still assembled. And, I'd say I'm within a couple inches of the length. That figure is with both bumpers on. You'll probably be about a foot shorter with the bumpers removed. Hope that helps. And, don't forget we'll need pictures when you get it.

My measurements assumed I'd fold the mirrors in or let them hang over something, if you need to account for mirrors too you may need to measure them because they vary so much in style and width.

Re: need measurements
Here is where it is: See if this helps.
http://chevy.oldcarmanualproject.com...esto/index.htm Scroll down and click on the section that says "Specification Information (Resto-Packs) Packages - Pre 1960" Here is the specific page that shows 53 truck dimensions: http://chevy.oldcarmanualproject.com...esto/53060.htm Here is the picture on that page:
