Re: '76 Chevy C-10 Build
well, the pic hide the dent well. i see the chipping chrome. I had a '76 the same color. I painted it lime green. it was my first attempt at bodywork, so my dad recommended a very light color to hide the blemishes. I wish I had a digital camera back then, or I'd post pics

Truck is a great start, subscribing...

Well that will all change. plan on having custom paint job done by a friend *Yay* and gray interior. xD And thank you! it would be done a lot faster if it wasn't raining and the 57 didn't take up the garaged.... Also I need a daily drive besides relying on this.

Yet again I feel your pain, it's been raining here a LOT, and the caddy is in the garage. My poor truck is in the driveway with a goofy camper shell on it and a tarp hahaha. I do have 3 daily drivers tho.. so at least I don't have to worry about that part of it.

Hey I have a question, for those of you who wanna pitch in their thoughts about this, Do you think a patina paint job style would look neat on this square body truck?

Re: '76 Chevy C-10 Build
Yeah I think so too, oh that will look good on your model too, I have seen some pretty sweet blazers at the drags. I just need a good steady job to be able to afford major work to my truck, but this economy has kept me from doing that.

Re: '76 Chevy C-10 Build
Ok so I know my truck has nothing new done to it lately, but I ran into an old friend who has this neighbor that rolled a 2003 2500 HD Chevy and is parting it out, well there is a 6.0 sitting in there and is selling it.
Well we talked about it for a few hours and he would let the engine and trans both go for 900$. Only thing is I don't know to much about engines, but I've noticed these engines seem to be good and popular. Oh it only has 43,xxx miles and is clean.

Re: '76 Chevy C-10 Build
6.0L is the way to go. Theyre reliable make great power and you can never beat fuel injection. 900 is cheap you should get it for your swb
