Any thoughts on fuel tank?
first off I searched with no luck,,,,I am wanting to get the gas tank out of the cab on my 64..I was gonna just get the suburban tank kit,,but I'm poor/cheap,so I was also wondering about a fuel cell with sender,,for about half the price..I was told my factory sender may be 0-30 ohms and all the cells I can find are 0-90,,so is there any way to make this work?

Re: Any thoughts on fuel tank?
Brothers sells a universal fit 0-30 ohm sender. You will need to check with the fuel cell manufacturer though and make sure the sending unit can be replaced.
Sending Unit: Brothers P/N ATK59SU, 0-30 Ohm Universal, $29.99 http://www.brotherstrucks.com/prodin...number=ATK59SU |

Re: Any thoughts on fuel tank?
It is kind of a pain but if you will look through this search you will find some info. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...archid=1572803
There is also some here. http://www.chevytalk.org/fusionbb/sh..._Chevy_Trucks/ look in the THE PIT STOP - Quick Reference Guide to Frequent Topics section for info about sending units. Hope it helps

Re: Any thoughts on fuel tank?
I forgot to mention that I am thinking of using this 16 gallon tank.
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/JZP-200-016-NF/ I plan to use a sending unit like this. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...d=330406022200 Summit has several that will fit. With and without sending units. you will need an aftermarket gauge with there senders. http://www.summitracing.com/search/D...?Ns=Rank%7cAsc
