Tire size and fit
I'm nearing completion of my truck and brainstorming some money saving ideas for now.
I have a set of stock rallys and was wondering if a set of 28x10.50-15 ET streets will fit well on the wheel and tuck into the wheel well? My truck is lowered, so they need to tuck. (oh, this is a 72 5 lug rearend on a fleetside) Eventually I'll get some wider wheels and tires, but for now this might have to work. |

Re: Tire size and fit
I have some installed on my 71 mounted on 15x8 rally wheels. They fit fine I will get some pics this afternoon and post them. Mine is only lowered 4.5" in the rear and have no fitment issues.

Re: Tire size and fit
awesome shots
How's the traction with those? What kind of HP are you making, and what kind of 60' times are you pulling. |

Re: Tire size and fit
Traction was great but the old motor was a very mild 350 with around 300 to 320 horsepower. We will see how the traction is with the new motor. I am in the process of installing a big block as we speak it should be around 500 horsepower.
