lift question
Blocks or springs for the rear? I`m looking for a 4" lift for my blazer and I wanted to go with a spring lift but money is tight and the block kit is quite a bit cheaper. Any input? Who has the best deal on a 4" lift with either blocks or springs?

Block are perfectly ok, they get a bad rap. Mostly from people not checking the u-bolts or having excessive horsepower (If there is such a thing).
Or a shackle flip kit in the rear and use the stock springs?

My stock springs are sagging so I was going to get a helper spring and then do a block lift. I want to do a spring lift but it`s too much money.

If money is tight than go with the blocks.I have 4" blocks on my Jimmy and have no complaints.However in a couple weeks,or months,or however long it takes me to get a job I'm going with an 8" lift,and I won't be using blocks.I would recomend the Skyjacker blocks for a 4" lift.It's somewhat cheap and easy to install,depending on your mechanical abilities.And as it was posted before,check the u-bolts every once in a while

I would skip the add-a-leaf and just use blocks, unless you already have them.
Run the blocks for awhile and save up for some springs. I have a six inch lift, with blocks for now with saggy stock springs. when i go to buy new springs for the rear..ill get eight inch springs. that way the suburban will sit slightly higher in the rear. When im done building my rear bumper for my 37'' spare and gas/water cans it will sit level.
