Re: new idea for fuel filler

Here's how I spent my last Saturday. I cut the filler off the old tank. Bought the LED taillight and will hinge the bottom of the holder like a few others have done here. The angle of the neck is about right - will probably get a different gas cap. Now, I just need 3' of very expensive fuel hose. Was either going to reduce the 2" filler neck and run the 1.5" hose to the tank OR run 2" hose back to the tank and reduce the neck there. Not sure if makes any difference except that I'm sure 1.5" fuel hose is cheaper than 2" hose! I looked at several different filler options here. I liked this one the best because I'm a slob when it comes to pumping gas - I just know that I'd dribble it down the paint. This way, only my shoes get spilled on - paint is safe!
