Hey could you help me on what tools i need to pull the harmonic balancer and reinstall it. plus the timing chain gears and oil pump. I am almost sure what i need but have to buy them and could use your help and any tips or tricks to make things go smooth.

Go to AutoZone and rent the puller and installation tool. Very wise investment. Trust me, b/c I twisted off a balancer bolt b/c I didn't use the proper tools.

Thanks i will see about renting but i dont have a autozone so i will have to call around.

Hey MSL,

All in One Rental on Stewart just down from Peach street has a pretty good selection of tools to rent.

I rent from them often. Convenient since they're about 2 blocks from my house and pretty good rates too. About $4 for half a day and $7.50 for a full day with $10 refundable deposit on most mechanic tools.

I've tried checking around locally for part stores that rent but haven't found any. So far All in One has everything I've needed.

Hint: They're closed on Sunday so if you rent on Saturday, you just might get a good deal over the weekend.
