Yes I do. That is what I want to do for a living. I convert stuff other people don't. I call them ecorods. The idea is that you pick your favorite car then convert it. I am going to be converting my 1962 Tempest this summer. It will be a test mule for my ideas and a marketing tool. Showing that EV's dont have to look like eggs.

Re: 1963 GMC Instrument cluster

Can be done. Trucks are easy to convert but generally heavy to start with making range a bit more of an issue. I converted a Jeep YJ a couple years ago and the guy loves it. He can drive to London and back to Ingersoll everyday with it as a commuter car. He hasn't bought gasoline since December of 08. That distance is around 100 kilometers. It has done more. He drove it Port Rowan and back one day which was 160 kilometers or so. But that was really pushing it. If battery technology got cheaper these things would being doing twice that distance and charging cheaper. Charging is already pretty cheap though. It takes about 60 cents to recharge over night.

I read the caption you have about it but haven't gone and looked at it any more than that. What is involved in an internet truck show?
