What is the best header for ....

a 383 with a vortech supercharger? I have long tubes now, but they look pretty crappy and I'm wanting to upgrade. I was thinking about these:

Thoughts?

I dont know for sure but i believe those are Tri Y. I read somewhere that Tri Y headers are very particular on tuning and RPM power. More so then regular 4-1 longtubes. I would research it if i were you. Ill try to find the article.

Something from Hooker, 1 7/8 or so. This is a 600+hp set up right?

You are correct on the HP. Do you have any part numbers? I may add some juice to it after I get everything else figured out...... I would also like them to not come down so far so I can have some better ground clearance, but I'm betting I'm not going to be able to have my cake and eat it too.....

Re: What is the best header for ....

Depends, some say you can use Chevelle headers which don't hang so low.

Re: What is the best header for ....

I have been running camaro headers and they hang just below the frame I think most of the pass cars headers will work and they wont hang nearly as low as the truck headers do and the old thorleys good luck finding them
