Valves a knocking
My 66 was parked for about a year before I bought it. I got it running but the valves are noisy. Or could be the lifters either way it's noisy. The engine has good oil pressure. Is there a proper way to adjust valves? I was just going to pull the valve cover and try to adjust them while it's running. Might not be the best way.

Re: Valves a knocking
Knowing what kind of engine might help us to help you.
There is a special tool for valve lash adjustment to do while running. If you have a show truck, you may want to do it with the engine off! |
