Re: What did you do to your truck today!
Flushed the cooling system (been in the 100's here lately).
Bleed the brakes. Washed/detailed. Loaded up ice chests, and the canopy. Parked snugly in her garage, anxiously waiting to show off at the Brothers truck show early tomorrow morning!

Today i took the door panel off and greased up the window so it would slide easier, then after that took it for a spin.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!
I put new tires on the '72, found that the back half of the MC had no brake fluid in it-why no rear brakes...will figure this out tomorrow...

Re: What did you do to your truck today!
Dropped the sub's fuel tank, reran a new fuel line with proper diesel rubber and steel, put in a new electric pump to prime the motor, sprayed diesel everywhere transfering back into the tank, and broke a damn hood hinge!
I have a spare set from my 70 GMC, but that's 2000 miles away. I'm guessing it was the vibrations from the diesel idling with an open hood last week. I'll just weld it up and hope it holds.

Drove her to the Brother's truck show, later broke the hood latch spring in the front. Drove home praying that the hood wouldn't fly up on me...
Made it home safe - No prizes, just new friends!

Re: What did you do to your truck today!
Went to the Northwest Motorfest this weekend, went through 2 batteries, alternator is barely keeping it charged, had to jump it a several times. Then to cap it off blew a power steering line on the way home. Had an awesome time regarless of the problems though.

Finally got off my butt and added the power brakes. It looks a lot better in the truck than sitting on the work bench.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!
I actually got my truck to fit into my shop.
Did an oil change, replaced the driver's side window regulator, then put the door panels back on. Cruised around for a bit before helping the girlfriend's dad get his RV started. Took a short cut through Camp Pendelton and was complemented by the sentry on my Gadsen Flag sticker. Prepping to remove the bed and move a crossmember to install my Blazer fuel tank. |

Re: What did you do to your truck today!
Put on a chrome radiator support on my 68. Covered up that ugly gap pretty good. Originally made for a chevelle but will fit w only having to drill 2 holes.
