so here is my home made cluster using autometer fuel and temp gauges and speedometer

I like it, what about a AMP and Fuel guage? Are you going to use them?

there wasnt room for all 4 gauges so I havent made up my mind wether too mount them under the dash or cut holes in it

Looks great, I am having the same challenge but I also want to mount a trans temp guage to monitor trans temp while crawling thru the boonies. I have seen 58-59 dashs with the ash tray smoothed and guages mounted in the dash below the V. Amp and volt meters are overrated, I have never had an old rig with one that worked. Gas you just need to keep it filled up and track how far you drive. Oil pressure and temps are critical and I'll take a tach over speedo too.

I used a electronic speedo because I am running a 4l80e transmission and there isn't a cable drive gear

Looks good. I've been trying to figure out a way to get your other gauges in the dash. Looks like enough room to put one on each side outside your cluster. But they need some trim to blend them in with this panel. I was thinking of a small version that only holds one gauge.

I have a couple ideas but not sure yet ,thinking about an aluminum panel to fit in the ash tray hole ,half the fun of these trucks is figureing out how you want something to look or work.

Im loving the look of those gauges. Im gona do something similar and mount any extra ones in the stainless housing I made, I havent got around to finishing it, but you get the idea.
