Well.....A six pack of Coke then, The problem with a used open/off the vehicle system is you don't know the condition of anything. There could be a leak in the evaporator/condenser or the compressor seal, You can't tell if a compressor is going to pump properly or rattle like crazy until it's all mounted and charged. Then there's the control switches/relays/low and high pressure switches and blower motor that's all in question.
Sooo, Even if you have the tools and equipment to vacuum and recharge the system yourself once installed (with a new dryer/oil/o-rings/orifice tube and refrigerant), It could still cost quite a bit only to find faulty parts that need replacing and the vacuum/recharge process done again......
