6 in. lift on a 72.
I'm looking to lift my 72 6 inches and was wondering who would be the best to go with and what gears I should run for 35's with a 350 tranny. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: 6 in. lift on a 72.
What are you looking for? If offroading and road driving I'd do a shackle flip in the rear with a zero rate block and soft ride springs of whatever brand you like and can afford (skyjacker etc). Gears depend on power... 3.73's are ok for road driving if you have a mild to strong motor... 4.10's are also decent but will decrease highway top speed and increase rpms... 4.56+ are good for mainly offroading

I have 410s with 35s and the 260hp crate motor, but couldnt deal witht the rpms on the highway so I went with a 700r after a few months. It really depends on your use, i daily drive my blazer and I wouldnt change a thing.
