I have other rims on my truck right now so I can polish my rims. Took me 2 hours and it only look marginally better. Old aluminum mags. What stuff are you using? I'm using Eagle One Nevr-Dull and it works pretty good. My rim's aren't polished though.

Ryan, I use that x-tream polish, than put the metal sealer on them and it seals the shine, the last set of polished wheels I did that to, it rained the next day, but the dirt just wiped of like they were chrome....

I use everything AR recommended for my Thrust II's. I use Eagle One aluminum wheel wash to clean them. I use AR's wheel polish and sealer they sell in a kit. It works great. No polishing for hours here. The sealer is the trick. Unless you seal the aluminum it is open to every bit of dirt that hits them.

Chrome is fine and dandy, but if it gets scratched, forget it. Polished aluminum is easy to fix, just polish it out.

Cool, I am going to have to check into that for a new set of wheels. Also, there is a clear POR15 that might be able to be used to seal them with.
