WOW that is a VERY nice motor indeed!
I'm saving for my trip to FLIN FLON, CANADA, (sounds familiar doesn't it! ) in 2 weeks. I already got enough money for that so.... now I'm saving money so I can fix up the 1979 when/IF I ever get it. ROFL However, my dad told me today that the current owner of the truck is on his way back from Texas now. He is a 70 year old truck driver. His truck broke down, tried to have it fixed, that didn't work, tried to get a loan for a new truck, that didn't work either, so now he is going to retire. LOL. He was supposed to be back Easter but then his truck broke down. So I am more than ready for him to get back so I can get the 79 from him. -Chris a.k.a. "Hopeless Dreamer"

Too bad I'm full of chit. I wish that was my motor. It really is sweet. It's actually the motor in a 67 Nova that my buddy is building for a customer...

I've been to the shoppppppppp, & that is one bright mother. I think they are ready for it to be out of there though.
The Ramblers engine compartment is coming along nicely as well.

That shop is actually just a hole in the wall kinda place . . .... if you drove by it & didn't know where to look, you'd miss it.
It's not so much the shop, it's the talent of the guys in the shop that's most impressive. The car was an original 66 chevII 283/PG, bahama blue, buckets & console car. It now sports a complete rectangular/round tube mild steel frame w/enough tub for a 14x32 slick, 502+ ci motor w/juice, & lenco trans. It's now bright, b r i g h t, viper red.

I'm saving for my 383, new trans., Hood scoops, new gears for the rear end, buckets, maybe a drop kit, and saving to get the truck repainted. I'm gonna be saving for a long time.
