Oak kit for '65 Fleetside
It is time to put the wood in my '65 shortbed/fleetside '65 Chevy. I want to get Oak and use polished stainless steel trim. What is the best place (quality/price) to buy what I am looking for? I am planning on going to the Daytona Beach Dream Cruise, Turkey Rod Run in Daytona and possibly the truck nationals in Tennessee.

Re: Oak kit for '65 Fleetside
I have done it for my stepside. I used birch that I got from Home Depot and used my router to make the grooves but you can also use a table saw if you have one.
I don't care for the kits becasue they are red oak and that is not a good outdoor wood and white oak is. I was thinking about using African Mahogony, but we will see.
